The Monumental Body

Aquarius Funk (2026)

The Monumental Body artists Aquarius Funkk, Liz Rhaney, C. Máashjé Phoxx, and Rae Sage created and held a reverent and contemplative space in the park at the corner of Pearl and Congress Streets on Sunday, August 16, 2026. Thanks to everyone who became part of the monumental body, uplifting the stories and memories that shape who we are and the space we share.

The performance featured an original score and oration which played off the first dedication in 1909 and who was left out of that space.
