TEMPOart partnered with the Children’s Museum and Theatre of Maine during July 2026 for the Artists at Play series featuring artists who are creating public artwork for Portland. We had so much fun making, dancing, and painting!

Artist Aquarius Funkk hosted The Rainbow Ball in Maddy’s Theatre where participants expressed themselves through dance, runway walks, and dressing up.
Artist Pame Chévez hosted a mural making drop-in. Kiddos added color and shapes to a surfboard for display at the Maker Space.
